- The central nervous system and lungs are nearly fully mature.

How you might feel
- Pelvic pressure may intensify as baby drops.
- Shortness of breath may ease if baby engages lower.
- Increased need to urinate.
- Fatigue is intense — your body is almost at full term.

- Know your Group B Strep (GBS) test results — typically done weeks 35–37
- Write down your care team's after-hours contact information
- Confirm birth support team — who will be in the room
- Rest as much as possible — sleep debt accumulates quickly post-birth
